Introduction
Iran Governmental Root Certificate Authority  (IRGRCA)  is the trusted point of public key infrastructure (PKI) of IRAN for monitoring of digital certificates issuance and management with the purpose of security development in the information exchange area, authentication in cyberspace at national and international levels and ultimately confidence in the use of electronic services.
 
IRGRCA is responsible for all aspects of issuance and management of Intermediate CAs certificate, including monitoring registration processes, authentication, issuing and revocation of certificates and re-key. Centers that got permission and also received a certificate from IRGRCA, are said to be Intermediate Certificate Authorities. These centers are qualified for issuance and revocation of subscribers digital certificate.
